A K9 is a dog that is specifically trained to help the law enforcement personnel. Their duties include: searching for drugs and explosives, locating missing people, finding crime scene evidence, and protecting their handlers. Police dogs must remember several verbal cues and hand gestures. Top 10 small dogs

Are you leaning towards a small dog? they are the cutest aren’t they. When I was on the search for my dog Coco, one thing I knew was that I wanted a small dog. They are easier to travel with, cuddle with and simply just a nice little lap dog. Coco is a mini poodle, and she is also hypoallergenic, prior to finding her I was sure that I wanted to keep my dog indoors with me. I knew that a larger dog was just to much for me to handle, so it wasn’t really an option. A therapy dog is a dog that is trained to provide affection and comfort to someone in a hospital, retirement home, schools etc. Dogs have become more than a mans best friend. Making them a therapy dog, gives you the privileges to pretty much take them where ever you go.  Some colleges and universities bring therapy dogs onto campuses to help de-stress students during mid-terms and finals.
